Strawberries: Strawberries help boost immunity greatly. This is because strawberries are packed with vitamin C, which is essential for successful immune function. Your body cannot produce its own vitamin C, so one great way to receive it is by consuming it, just like consuming strawberries. Strawberries can also improve heart health because not only do they have abundant amounts of vitamin C, but they are also packed with folate and fiber. Bananas: Bananas are high in fiber, which is easy for the stomahc to digest. Bananas are a great way to keep you regular, especially during constipation or bowel problems. Protein powder: Protein powder can help you stay fuller for longer, and hels you reach your daily average of protein intake. Getting enoug protein in your body is important for your body to build muscle, tissue, and create enzymes. Getting enough protein also benefits your bones and skin (Active Beat)

Jackfruit: Jackfruit is a delicious, sweet fruit that is packed with all sorts of nutrients that your body needs. First of all, jackfruit is low in calories, with it being only 155 calories in one cup. According to Healthline, one cup of jackfruit can give you 3 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, 10-percent of the recommended daily intake of vitamin A, 18-percent of the RDI of vitamin C, 11-percent of the RDI for riboflavin, 15-percent for magnesium and 14-percent for potassium (Active Beat)

Flaxseeds: Flaxseeds are an excellent source and example of plant based protein. Flaxseeds contain about 10% of the RDI or protein, or 5 grams of protein, in just a couple of tablespoons. They can help greatly with helping to satisfy cravings (Facty Health)

Chia seeds: Chia seeds: It is widely known and heard that chia seeds are a “superfood” that have a variety of benefits, but do you REALLY know why they are so good for you? Let’s dig in!Chia seeds are packed with fiber with around 11 grams per ounce. Chia seeds are a great way to help fulfill your daily fiber needs and intake. Chia seeds can help with digestion as well. Since chia seeds have so much fiber in them, it prevents constipation, therefore helping greatly with the body detoxifying by letting out excess waste. Chia seeds are also a great source of protein for begetarians who get their source of protein from things other than meat. Chia seeds have around 4.4 grams of protein per ounce which can help with building muscle, as well as fulfilling needs and cutting back cravings. (ActiveBeat).

Hemp seeds: Hemp seeds are a great source of magnesium, which helps support function and balance electrolyte levels in the body. It also helps your gut to break down carbs into glucose that your body needs as fuel. Just a one ounce serving of hemp seeds contains 192 mg of magnesium, which is half of the recommended daily value, also known as RDI (Facty Health)

Peanut butter: Peanut butter is a great source of healthy fats. Healthy fats are crucial for your body to ward off disease and for it to work correctly. Peanut Butter is packed with these healthy fats, which is also known as monounsaturated fats. According to multiple studies, people that eat these fats have less belly fat than those that eat saturated fats and carbs. Peanut butter is a great ingredient to use in general because many people add more ingredients in recipes due to a lack of salt, but with peanut butter this doesnt happen, which makes sure that there is not an unnecessary amount of calories (Facty Health)


Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup frozen straberries and banana mix
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cupfrozen jackfruit
  • 6 ounces milk
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes
  • 3 teaspoons superseed trio (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Instructions

1. In a blender, add ¾ cup of a mix of frozen strawberries and bananas and ½ cup of jackfruit. 

2. Add one tablespoon of peanut butter.

3. Add 3 teaspoons of your superseded trio mix (optional step).

4. Add one scoop of your protein powder (optional, but will help keep you full). 

5. Add six ounces of milk and add your ice. You can change the amount of milk added depending on the texture you like.

6. Now blend.

7. Enjoy!
